This is a panorama from my 6-day trip to the Kyushu island of Japan. Kyushu is the southern most island of Japan. This particular place is Mt.Aso, a series of peaks, one of which is an active volcano. You can see the smoke being emitted from it on the left of this photo. I stitched this panorama from 9 separate shots, without the use of a tripod, which I didn't bring with me due to the fact that I travelled by rail and had too much baggage. As you can see I messed up the sky...If anyone can direct me or help me fix it I will be eternally greatful.

Great image, the sky is a little burned in in the middle top for my taste..

9+ and well deserved !

Oh man this is a beautiful shot! It's a shame that the centre of the sky was over-polarised, and I'm not sure about the cloud on the left, but apart from that, gorgeous!

Beautiful composition. Seems just a smidge too dark in spots, but otherwise very well done. +8

the picture is AWESOME... this is a land of my dreams :) the only distracting thing is title and your nick on the border, i don't know why but it distracts me a lot, maybe change a font and put it on the bottom, there is also some noise on the sky, you can remove it easily... that's just my taste of course :)
still EXCELLENT photo and still my max for you :)

An overall beautiful shot and well done. It is too bad the sky has problems. Continue working on it with software. It might be possible using the blur tool or clone tool to improve it a bit.

I love it, but I would love it even more if that part with the road would get chopped off. I hate that little reminder on humanity ;) +9

I would strongly recommend the software: The Panorama Factory (latest version is 4.0).

I have only used it once but it does wonders...

(photoshop cs has this new function... guess you already know.. ascertaining images' perspective and putting them together.. a fried took several _extremely random shots and put them into ps.. did a well job. _some fixing was needed but as said.. nice job. but i dont know if it works on panorama shots, too... :)
